Allison Williams is an American actress, comedian, and musician born on April 13, 1988 in Hartford, Connecticut to news anchor Brian Williams and TV producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. A product of Yale University, she graduated college in the year 2010. While she was on her college days, she used to be a part of the comedy group “Just Add Water” as well as the youtube series College Musical.
She officially started her acting career on screen in the year 2004 when she was cast on the TV series American Dreams, portraying the role Deborah for two episodes. She then appeared on Will & Kate: Before Happily Ever After, Jake and Amir, and The League, The Mindy Project. Presently, she appears as Marnie Michaels, a main role, on the TV series Girls.
In 2011, Allison started dating with the entrepreneur Ricky Van Veen. This good-looking businessman is known to be the co-founder of CollegeHumor.com, a famous comedy website.
