Alyssa Jayne Milano is an American actress, producer, and singer born on December 19, 1972 in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. At the age of eight, she was already exposed to acting as she was cast on the Broadway musical Annie. In 1984, she became known when she appeared on the television series Who’s the Boss?, particularly playing the role Samantha Micelli.
The said TV series earned her a Young Artist Award for Best Young Supporting Actress in a Television Series and Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards for Favorite TV Actress. She also had a significant appearance on the film Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story as well as on the TV series Melrose Place, Charmed, My Name Is Earl, Romantically Challenged, and Breaking In. Presently, she appears on the TV series Project Runway: All Stars and Mistresses.
Alyssa started dating the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) agent David Bugliari in 2007. They eventually decided to settle down and announced their engagement on December 18, 2008.
