American singer and actress Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter was born on September 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. She was the lead singer of the 1990s R&B girl-group, Destiny’s Child. She gained recognition as a solo artist when she released her first album Dangerously in Love in 2003, which earned five Grammy Awards, featuring her top singles Crazy in Love and Baby Boy. With her voice ranging up to 3.6 octaves, she certainly reached not just the music notes but even the hearts of many. She continues to awe different generations of listeners with her other top singles including “Irreplaceable”, “Beautiful Liar”, “Single Ladies”, “Halo”, and “If I Were a Boy”.
