Carmen Kass is an Estonian model, businesswoman, and former political candidate. She was born on September 14, 1978 in Tallinn, Estonia. A product of Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, she is the daughter of Viktor Kass and Koidu Põder. She started to be connected to modelling when she was 14 years old when she was spotted by a modelling scout in a supermarket.
When she turned eighteen, she flew to Paris and was highlighted on various covers of magazines such as on American, French, British, and Italian Vogue, Australian Elle, UK Image, Madame Figaro, and French Numéro. It was in the year 1997 when she had her first Vogue cover which was on French Vogue.
