Chris Hemsworth is an Australian actor. He was born on August 11, 1983 in Melbourne, Australia to parents Leonie and Craig Hemsworth. Prior to fame, he first appeared as a guest in an episode of the TV series Guinevere Jones. Soon after, he got his breakthrough when he was cast on the Australian TV soap Home and Away from 2004 to 2007. He soon appeared in a number of films including Star Trek where he acted as George Kirk, Thor where he acted the main role Thor himself, The Avengers, Star Trek Into Darkness, Thor: The Dark World, Snow White and the Huntsman, and many others. Presently, he is filming the upcoming flicks such as In the Heart of the Sea, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Vacation.
Chris was known to be dating the actress Isabel Lucas whom he met in the year 2005. For over three years, they were exclusively seeing each other. They broke up in 2008 though.
