One with a career that has spanned over 30 years, she had her solo album debut She’s So Unusual in the year 1983.
The said album was the first debut female album to chart four top-five hits on the Billboard Hot 100. Her hit singles such as “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”, “Time After Time”, “She Bop”, and “All Through the Night” were the songs that led her to win the Best New Artist award at the 27th Grammy Awards in the year 1985.
