Dave Chappelle, originally David Khari Webber Chappelle, is an American stand-up comedian, screenwriter, producer, and actor. He was born on the 24th of August 1973 in Washington, D.C., United States. He started to work as an actor in the year 1982, playing a role on the motion picture The End of August.
In the year 1993, he became part of the film Robin Hood: Men in Tights, playing the character Ahchoo. He was eventually seen on the movie The Nutty Professor wherein he played the role Reggie Warrington. He became prominent when he was cast on the TV show Crank Yankers and worked as a voice actor. He then earned his breakthrough when he was given the Chappelle’s Show by which he was the host. The show lasted from 2003 to 2006.
The comedian is presently married to Elaine Erfe Chappelle. They have been married since the year 2001 and they have three kids namely Sonal Chappelle, Ibrahim Chappelle, and Sulayman Chappelle. He was not romantically involved with anyone in the industry other than with Elaine.
