Diane Kruger, originally Diane Heidkrüger, is a German actress and model. She was born on July 15, 1976 in Algermissen, Germany to parents Hans-Heinrich Heidkrüger and Maria-Theresa. She started to gain attention in the year 1992 when she joined the yearly fashion modeling event called the Elite Model Look. The said event gave her the opportunity to represent her own country, Germany. Later on, she was seen modeling for popular fashion brands and designers including Christian Dior, Burberry, Jil Sander, Salvatore Ferragamo, Chanel, and a lot more. She began to dominate the film industry in 2004 when she was cast as Helen in the film Troy. Nowadays, she is considered as one of the successful actresses in show business.
After dating French actor Guillaume Canet, they decided to settle down and build a family. On September 1, 2001, they got married but unfortunately have their marriage end when they decided to separate. Their divorce finalized in the year 2006.
That same year, Diane started seeing Canadian-American actor Joshua Jackson. Until these days, they are still seen together and apparently, they are very much in love.
