Elizabeth Chase Olsen, also known as Lizzie Olsen, is an American actress and singer. She was born on February 16, 1989 in Sherman Oaks, California, USA. The daughter of Jarnette and David Olsen, she is also known as the sister of famous celebrity twins Mary-Kate and Ashley. She started to appear on screen in 1994, portraying a significant role on the film How the West Was Fun.
In 2011, she became prominent when she won the Central Ohio Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress for her outstanding performance on Martha Marcy May Marlene. The same year, she also won numerous awards such as Ghent International Film Festival—Special Mention, Los Angeles Film Critics Association—New Generation Award, Phoenix Film Critics Society Award for Best Actress, and a couple more.
