She was born on October 29, 1972 in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Theresa and Sylvester E. Union. She started to become prominent in the industry when she appeared on the TV program Saved by the Bell: The New Class in 1995 and 1996.
Soon after, she got more famous when she was cast on the TV series 7th Heaven from 1996 to 1999. From 2005 to 2006, she also became prominent for playing the role Perri Reed on TV series Night Stalker. Presently, she stars as Mary Jane Paul on the TV series Being Mary Jane.
Gabrielle’s first love happened to be the NBA star Jason Kidd. But that was when she was still in high school. She also had a relationship with NFL player Chris Howard, being married with him from 2001 to 2005. It was in 2009 when she started dating the Miami Heat basketball player Dwyane Wade.
