American actor Jared Tristan Padalecki was born on July 19, 1982 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Sherri and Gerald Padalecki. In 1999, he officially became an actor when he was hired to play the minor role Matt Nelson on A Little Inside. Because of his impressive acting, he instantly gained attention and was eventually given series of roles for various films and TV series, including the TV program Gilmore Girls where he acted as Dean Forester from 2000 to 2005.
He also took part in an episode of TV series ER in 2001, playing the role Paul Harris as well as in Supernatural: The Anime Series where he starred as Sam Winchester. Presently, he appears on the TV series Supernatural.
After meeting the actress Genevieve Cortese on the set of Supernatural, he eventually fell in love with her and found himself dating her. And because their love affair was getting more and more serious, they decided to settle down. They got married on February 27, 2010 in Idaho and are now blissfully living in Vancouver, British Columbia with their kids Thomas Colton and Shepherd.
