The brother of Matthew Lawrence and Andrew Lawrence, he started to appear on screen as a celebrity when he was cast on the short film Scamps, playing the role Sparky. From 1983 to 1987, he was highlighted on Gimme a Break!, playing the main role Joey Donovan. He has other appearances on screen, both on TV and films.
