Jon Bernthal, originally Jon Bernthal, is an American actor. He was born on September 20, 1976 in Washington, D.C., United States. He has siblings namely Thomas Bernthal, Nicholas and Matthew Bernthal. He started his acting career in the year 2002, portraying the role Manny on Mary / Mary.
Later on he became prominent when he was cast on the film The Wolf of Wall Street which was aired in the year 2013. The said film earned him multiple nominations including nominations for Boston Society of Film Critics Award for Best Ensemble, Central Ohio Film Critics Association Award for Best Ensemble, Critics’ Choice Award for Best Acting Ensemble, Detroit Film Critics Society Award for Best Ensemble, and several others. From 2010 to 2012, he also became popular for his appearances on The Walking Dead as Shane Walsh.
