He is an Irish actor famous for his appearances on films and television programs. In 1994, he began to appear on screen when he was cast on the film A Man of No Importance. He then became remarkable when he appeared on the TV series Gormenghast in 2000, acting as Steerpike for four episodes. Soon after he was seen on TV series The Tudors as well as on Dracula.
