Julie Frances Christie is a British actress. She was born on April 14, 1941 in Chabua, India. It was in the year 1965 when she started to earn prominence. She was cast on the 1965 film Darling and earned lots of awards such as BAFTA Award for Best British Actress, Laurel Award for Top Female Dramatic Performance, New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress, Silver Goddess for Best Foreign Actress, and Academy Award for Best Actress. Since then, her career became a success over the years.
The beautiful and veteran actress dated Omar Sharif long time ago. She was also romantically linked to actor Terence Stamp in the early 1960s. In 1965, she fell in love with lithographer Don Bessant and was engaged to him eventually. However, there never was a marriage that happened.
