He first became prominent when he appeared on the TV series Passions by which he acted the role Nicholas Foxworth “Fox” Crane. Later on, he was seen on the TV series Smallville and portrayed the roles Green Arrow and Oliver Queen. From 2002 to 2003, he was highlighted on Emily Owens, M.D. and played the role Will Collins. These days, he stars on Mistresses as Scott Thompson as well as on The Young and the Restless as Adam Newman.

It was in the year 2003 when he started going out with his Passions co-star Lindsay Korman. After several months of dating, they officially confirmed their engagement which happened on November 13, 2003. They became a married couple on May 1, 2004.
