Maggie Q, originally Margaret Denise Quigley, is an American actress born on May 22, 1979 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is known to be of Irish, Polish, and Vietnamese descent. The first step she took before reaching popularity was working as a model. When she was 17 years old, she particularly took the advice of a friend to pursue modeling in Tokyo. In was in 1998 when she decided to go for acting and the first acting job she got was on the Asian TV drama House of the Dragon.
In 2001, she started to get even more popular when she was cast on the film Rush Hour 2 by which she was able to work with the famous action star Jackie Chan. Her breakthrough eventually came in 2010 when she portrayed the main role Nikita on the American TV series Nikita. These days, she is considered as one among the many celebrities who have gone far, making their names prominent in the industry.
Maggie was known to be dating Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu during the earlier years of her career. She was also linked to the American actor Daniel Henney in 2005.
