Rashida Leah Jones is an American film and television actress, comic book author, screenwriter, and occasional singer. She was born on February 25, 1976 in Los Angeles to parents Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton. Growing up in Bel Air, she used to attend school at The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California.
She started to appear on screen in the year 1997 when she was cast on the miniseries The Last Don as Johanna. Soon after, she got prominent when she was seen on various TV series such as Boston Public, Chappelle’s Show, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Web Therapy, and many others.
Rashida is presently in a relationship with Saturday Night Live writer Colin Jost. They started dating last year, around January.
