Reba Nell McEntire was born on March 28, 1955 in McAlester, Oklahoma, United Statess. She is an American country music singer, songwriter, record producer, actress and television producer. She was still in high school when she started to delve into music, particularly singing in the Kiowa High School band.
Her career in music started to become successful when she signed with MCA Nashville Records. In the year 1984, she was able to publish her album My Kind of Country which featured traditional country music. Such singles such as “How Blue” and “Somebody Should Leave” became one of the famous tracks. Until these days, she is still regarded as one of the most popular and successful country singers in the world.
Reba was married twice. First, she got married to Charlie Battles. She and Charlie became a married couple from the year 1976 to 1987. Shortly after her separation with Charlie, she settled and down and wedded Narvel Blackstock. Their marriage lasted from the year 1987 to 2015. She and Narvel have a daughter named Shelby Blackstock.
