Ruth Negga is an Ethiopian-Irish actress. She was born in the year 1982 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A product of Trinity College, Dublin, her career in acting started in the year 1994 when she was cast on the motion picture Capital Letters wherein she played the role Taiwo. The same year, she was highlighted on the TV series Doctors, playing the role Wanda Harrison in an episode called “The Replacement”.
Her big break came out when she was featured on the TV series Love/Hate from 2010 to 2011. Later on she became part of the TV show Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., playing the role Raina from 2013 to 2015.
