Sarah Michelle Gellar, now known as Sarah Michelle Prinze, is an American actress and producer. She was born on April 14, 1977 in New York City. The daughter of Rosellen and Arthur Gellar, she is known to be of Jewish descent. It was in 1983 when she entered the world of show business, particularly appearing on the TV film An Invasion of Privacy. In 1984, she appeared on big screen for the first time in an uncredited role on the film Over the Brooklyn Bridge. Soon after, she was seen on various films including I Know What You Did Last Summer, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, The Grudge, Veronika Decides to Die, and many other films.
Sarah reportedly had an off-set relationship with David Boreanaz from 1998 to 1999. Shortly after they broke up, she began dating Jerry O’Connell, an American actor, but their relationship was short-lived.
It was in 1997 when she met actor Freddie Prinze Jr. while they were filming the horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer. They did not immediately date after working for the film until in the year 2000 when they finally started seeing each other. Together they said their wedding vows on September 1, 2002. Later on they became parents of two children namely Charlotte and Rocky James.
