Shelley Lee Long is an American actress. She was born on August 23, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. The daughter of Leland Long and Ivadine Long. All throughout her career, she became known for her role as Diane Chambers on the sitcom Cheers fby which she earned five Emmy nominations, particularly winning in 1983 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
She also became well-recognized for her appearances on flicks such as Night Shift, Irreconcilable Differences, The Money Pit, Outrageous Fortune, Hello Again, Troop Beverly Hills, Hijinks, The Brady Bunch Movie, A Very Brady Sequel, and Dr. T & the Women
Shelley was first married to Ken Solomon. They unfortunately got a divorce. The second time around that she got married was in the year 1981– particularly with Bruce Tyson. She and Bruce are blessed with a daughter named Juliana who was born on March 27, 1985. It was in the year 2003 when she and Bruce got separated. Their divorce was finalized in the year 2004.
