Sophia Loren is an Italian film actress. She was born on September 20, 1934 in Rome, Italy. It was in the year 1950 when she started her career as an actress, particularly portraying a minor role on the film I Am the Capataz. Soon after, she earned successive roles for various flicks which made her career more and more successful. One of these was the film The Miller’s Beautiful Wife in 1955 wherein she played the role Carmela. In 1959, she became more remarkable when she played the role Lucia Curio on the film It Started in Naples and earned a nomination for Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. These days, she stays successful in her career.
In the year 1950, she met Italian film producer and eventually fell in love with him. Despite their long-length age difference, they dated and got married in September 1957. In 2007, Carlo died but they remained married until his death.
