Growing up in Northampton, Northamptonshire, she moved to Chesterton, Warwickshire when she turned two. When she was still a child, she was already seen as someone who has a penchant for acting. She has been a part of the theatre company Playbox Theatre Company since she was three years old.
In 2011, she became popular in the television industry when she was cast for the main role Sansa Stark on the TV series Game of Thrones. In 2013, she was also hired to play the role Fay Delussey on Another Me. She also played the role Heather on the film Barely Lethal.
