He was born Steven Chadwick McQueen on July 13, 1988 in Los Angeles, California. He started to appear on screen in the year 2005, playing the role Jordan Peters on the TV series Threshold.
The same year, he was cast on the American drama TV series Everwood by which he played the role Kyle Hunter for seven episodes. In 2008, he played significant appearances in an episode of Numb3rs, Without a Trace, and CSI: Miami. Experiencing his career break, he took the major part Jeremy Gilbert on The Vampire Diaries from 2009 up to the present.
