Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress and rapper. She was born on August 7, 1982 in Lochinvar, Australia to parents Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. It was in the year 1997 when she was first seen on screen as an actress, portraying the role Simone Summers on the film Wildside. The said film earned her the Australian Film Institute: Young Actor’s Award. In 1999, she was seen on Close Contact wherein she acted as Sara Boyack.
In 2003, she became more remarkable when she was cast on Marking Time by which she played the role Tracey and was able to earn a nomination for Australian Film Institute Award for Best Guest or Supporting Actress in Television Drama or Comedy.
