American television weather presenter, actor, and book author Albert Lincoln “Al” Roker, Jr., was born in Queens, New York on August 20, 1954, to Isabel and Albert Lincoln Roker, Sr. He is best known as Today’s weather anchor on NBC. He is also known for his signature phrases “man candy”, which he often used to describe attractive males, and “that’s what’s going on around the country here’s what’s happening in your neck of the woods”. He also co-hosted Wake Up with Al and The Weather Channel. Al Roker appeared in “Mad About You” (1994), “The Single Guy” (1997), and “Saturday Night Live” (1998, 2007). He was also the voice behind the weather forecaster in one episode of “Superman: The Animated Series” in 1998; the newscaster in “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” in 2008; and Patrick Patrickson in “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” and its sequel, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2”.
Although Al was rumoured to have two previous relationships, his relationship with Alice Bell and Deborah Roberts were the famously recognized ones. He was married to Alice Bell on December 22, 1984, but the relationship ended up in divorce in 1994. The previous couple had an adopted child named, Courtney. In his Love Without Limits article, he said that it is not really a big deal if his child is adopted or not; rather, he gives more emphasis on loving them, which he learned during his childhood years.

Al is currently married to Deborah Roberts, who is also a television journalist and works for the ABC News division. In the year 1990 to 1995, she and Al worked together in NBC. Currently, they are blessed with two amazing children, Leila Roker, who was born on 17th of November, 1998, and Nicholas Albert Roker, born on 18th of July, 2002.
