Alison Elizabeth Larter, famously known as Ali Larter, is an American actress. She was born on February 28, 1976 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey to parents Margaret and Danforth Larter. She officially started her career in acting in the year 1997, particularly guesting on the TV series Suddenly Susan and acted as Maddie in an episode. She soon experienced her debut film which happened in the year 2009 on the film Varsity Blues. In 2000, she gained recognition when she was cast on the film Final Destination and was awarded with Young Hollywood Award for Breakthrough Performance Female and was nominated for Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Actress – Horror. The said recognitions allowed her to earn more roles on films including Legally Blonde, American Outlaws, Obsessed, Resident Evil: Extinction, Crazy, and several others.

During the set of Homo Erectus, Ali met American stand-up comedian Hayes MacArthur. Since then, they were constantly seen being together. In December 2007, she revealed that they are going to marry. Their wedding happened on August 1, 2009 in Kennebunkport, Maine.

In 2010, she delivered their first child whom they named Theodore Hayes MacArthur. This year, they are expecting another angel to come to their family.
