She was born on March 25, 1989 in Torrance, California, United States to parents Mark Michalka and Carrie Michalka. She first became known in show business in the year 2004 when she was cast on the TV series Phil of the Future by which she acted the main role Keely Teslow. Another TV series that made her prominent was Hellcats by which she acted the role Marti Perkins from 2010 to 2011. She also had appearances on the TV series Two and a Half Men and played the role Brooke from 2013 to 2014. Presently, she plays the role Peyton Charles on the TV series iZombie.
