Amy Jade Winehouse lived from 14 September 1983 to 23 July 2011. Amy Winehouse was born in Chase Farm Hospital in north London, to Jewish parents.
She was an English singer and songwriter famous for her deep contralto vocals and her diverse ability mix all musical genres, including soul(sometimes branded as blue-eyed soul, rhythm and blues, jazz and reggae).
Her debut album which was released in 2003 by Frank made a remarkable achievement in the UK . To such that it was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
Her Back to Black album which was a follow-up, led her to win five Grammy Awards in 2008.
Winehouse broke up with her boyfriend who later became her husband. On 18 May 2007 she wedded Fielder-Civil.
In early January 2009 she was seen with Josh Bowman who was an aspiring actor in Saint Lucia on a holiday , confessing she was “in love again, and I don’t need drugs.” She said the “whole marriage was based on doing drugs” and that “for the time being I’ve just forgotten I’m even married.”
