Barbara Bain is an American film and television actress. She was born on the 13th of September 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She had her first appearance on screen as an actress in the year 1958, playing the role Mary Owens on the TV series Harbormaster in an episode called “The Captain’s Gun”.
In the year 1959, she became part of the TV series Richard Diamond, Private Detective wherein she played the role Karen Wells for about five episodes. From 1960 to 1961, she was featured on the TV series Adventures in Paradise, acting the role Martha Peterson. She then acted the role Dorothy on the TV show The Dick Van Dyke Show. Other small screen appearances she had were on the TV shows such as The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, Mission: Impossible, Space: 1999, and many others.
Barbara was married to martin Landau in the year 1957. Together they were blessed with two children namely Juliet Landau and Susan Landau Finch. Their marriage ended when Martin died in the year 1993.
