Bérénice Bejo is an Argentinian born French actress. She was born on July 7, 1976 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She appeared on screen for the first time in the year 1993, portraying a significant role on the short film Pain perdu. Soon after, she got lots of acting projects, including role portrayal on the film Meilleur espoir féminin by which she was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actress.
In 2011, she became more remarkable in the industry when she garnered numerous awards for her impressive portrayal on The Artist by which she played Peppy Miller. Some of these awards include the Santa Barbara International Film Festival – Cinema Vanguard Award, Lumières Award for Best Actress, César Award for Best Actress, and many others.
It was in the year 2006 when she met the love of her life– her destiny, director Michel Hazanavicius. They met during the set of the comedy film OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies. Later on, they finally settled down. Nowadays, they are still happily married and are enjoying their married life together with their kids namely Lucien and Gloria.
