Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe, famously known as Boris Kodjoe, is an actor. He was born on March 8, 1973 in Vienna, Austria. The son of Ursula Kodjoe and Eric Kodjoe, he started to appear on screen as a celebrity in the year 1998, portraying the role Dexter on the TV show The Steve Harvey Show. He became more prominent when he was cast on the TV show Soul Food wherein he played the character Damon Carter from the year 2000 to 2004. The said show earned him a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He stays prominent and successful these days.
