Céline Marie Claudette Dion, a French-Canadian singer, was born on the 30th of March 1968 in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada. The daughter of Thérèse Tanguay and Adhémar Dion, she came from a large family consisting of 14 children including herself. When she was 12 years old, she particularly wrote a song together with her mother and brother. She gained attention in 1990 when she released her first album called Unison. Her songs from that album instantly gained appreciation from her fans which eventually grew as time went by. With her career skyrocketing, she got several awards including Grammy Award and Academy Award. She also gained further notoriety in the music industry when her song “Beauty and the Beast” was set as a soundtrack for an animated film. From then on, she became one of the most highly regarded and most successful singers in the world.
Celine met René Angélil in 1980 but they started dating in 1987 when their bond became closer due to the fact that René became more than just her talent manager. Despite their age gap, with René 26 years older than her, their relationship became stronger as years went by. Finally in December 1994, they settled for good and got married.
Celine was not able to conceive easily that’s why she and her husband decided to go through a fertility process called in-vitro fertilisation in order to produce their own offsprings. Their first son named René-Charles Angelil was born on January 25, 2001. Later on they were blessed with twin sons they named Eddy and Nelson.
