China Chow is an English actress and model. She was born to parents Michael Chow and Tina Chow in April 1974 in London, United Kingdom. Before she became a notable actress, she first studied Scripps College, focusing on psychology. After graduating, she worked as a model and followed her mom’s footsteps. She particularly modeled for Shiseido cosmetics, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein.

Because she garnered attention from the modelling crowd, she was labeled as one of Harper’s Bazaar’s “It Girls” in the year 1996 and was given the opportunity to appear in the December 1996 edition of Vogue‘s “The Next Best-Dressed List”. It was in the year 1998 when she was cast on the film The Big Hit and was able to work with actor Mark Wahlberg.
