Frederick Christopher Klein, better known as Chris Klein, is an American actor famous for playing Chris ‘Oz’ Ostreicher in the American Pie comedy teen films. He was born on March 14, 1979 in Hinsdale, Illinois, United States. He started doing acting jobs in the year 1999, appearing on the flick Election wherein he played the role Paul Metzler. That same year, he earned prominence when he was cast on the comedy flick American Pie. Since then, he became a popular male celebrity.
It was in January 2000 when he started dating actress Katie Holmes. They became engaged in the year 2003 but things did not work out for their relationship as they called their engagement off and ended their relationship in the year 2005.
