He started to work as an actor in the year 1995, playing a role on the motion picture When Dating Turns Dangerous as well as on the TV series Law & Order wherein he acted the role Tommy Bell in an episode called “Rebels”.
He was soon cast on films such as The Crooked Corner, Humboldt County, Towelhead, Ira & Abby, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, The Trouble with Bliss, Celeste and Jesse Forever, 28 Hotel Rooms, The Giant Mechanical Man, and many others. In 2012, he played part on Argo and earned the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture along with multiple nominations.
