Dermot Mulroney is an American actor and director. He was born on October 31, 1963 in Alexandria, Virginia, United States. He started to appear on big screen in the year 1986, portraying a significant role on the TV flick The Drug Knot. In 1987, he was nominated for CableACE Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie. He was also nominated for MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss in the year 1995 together with actress Winona Ryder. In 2013, he won the Hollywood Film Festival Award for Best Ensemble for his impressive performance on August: Osage County. Meanwhile, he also became part of the TV series such as The Batman and New Girl.
He was first married to actress Catherine Keener in the year 1990. They first met when they filmed the Survival Quest together in the year 1987.
