Ellie Kemper, originally Elizabeth Claire Kemper, is an American actress, comedian, and writer. The daughter of David Woods Kemper and Dorothy Ann Jannarone, she was born on May 2, 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. In 2006, she started to appear on screen when she was cast on the TV series Sexual Intercourse: American Style for some of its episodes.
She then earned prominence when she starred on the TV series Mister Glasses as Kitty. Later on, she became more noticeable when she was featured on Important Things with Demetri Martin as Allison and Felicia. Other TV series she participated were The Office and The Mindy Project. She also took part on the comedy flick Bridesmaids in 2011, playing the role Becca. These days, she stars on the TV series Sofia the First as Crackle and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt as Kimmy Schmidt.
Presently, Ellie is married to Michael Koman, a screewriter. They started dating in the year 2009 and became engaged in the year 2011. It was on July 7, 2012 when they finally tied the knots and settled down. They still do not have kids these days but they’re working on it.
