Elsa Lafuente Medianu, better known as Elsa Pataky, is a Spanish model, actress, and film producer. She was born on July 18, 1976 in Madrid, Spain to parents José Francisco Lafuente and Cristina Pataky Medianu. Known to be of Romanian, French, English, and Italian descent, she used to be a member of Teatro Cámara de Ángel Gutiérrez, a theater company in Spain– which explains why she greatly developed her skill in acting. Her first exposure on screen happened in 1997 when she was cast on the Al salir de clase and played the role Raquel Alonso for about 192 episodes as well as on the short film Solo en la buhardilla by which she played the role Chica revista. Presently, she works for the upcoming American flick Furious 7 by which she will be acting as Elena Neves.
Prior to meeting her husband Chris Hemsworth, Elsa first dated former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer Fonsi Nieto. They had a four-year relationship together. When her relationship with the racer ended, she dated French actor and singer Michael Youn and together they shared a two-year relationship.
