Janel Parrish is an American actress, dancer, singer, and songwriter. She was born on October 30, 1988 in Oahu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States. The daughter of Joanne Parrish and Mark Parrish, she was first seen on screen as an actress in the year 1999, portraying a significant role on the television film Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke.
The same year, she was also seen in one of the episodes of Baywatch, playing the role Hina. From 2007 to 2008, she became more popular for her role May on Heroes. She also had guest appearances on True Jackson, VP as well as on Drop Dead Diva and Dancing with the Stars. These days, she stars on the TV series Pretty Little Liars as Mona Vanderwaal.
