At 14, she started her modeling career. She later on entered the world of show business in the year 1994, playing the role Sylvie Warden on the film Silent Fall. After her successful movie debut, she was given lots of acting opportunities which include playing roles on films Heavy and Empire Records. In 1996, she was nominated for Young Star Award for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Drama Film for playing a remarkable role on the film Stealing Beauty. She also gathered a set of nominations for her impressive acting job on the 1998 film Armageddon. In 2001, she began filming The Lord of the Rings film series and became even more prominent for portraying the ficitional character Arwen Undómiel. This year, she takes the role Meg Abbott on TV drama series The Leftovers.

Liv started dating Spacehog’s lead singer and bassist Royston Langdon and became officially engaged in February 2001. They got married on March 25, 2003 in Barbados and were eventually blessed with a son named Milo William Langdon. It was on May 8, 2008 when they announced that their marriage didn’t work out and that they separated and went to being friends.

In 2013, she was reportedly dating her Lord of the Rings co-star Orlando Bloom. Although this remains a rumor, we love the idea of Liv going out with a guy and enjoying her life.
