She started to appear on screen as an actress in the year 1994, portraying a significant role in one of the episodes of The Adventures of Pete & Pete. Later on she garnered more attention when she appeared on the TV series ER, playing the role Samantha Sobriki. From 2000 to 2007, she also earned popularity for her role Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls. Presently, she appears on How to Get Away with Murder, playing the role Bonnie Winterbottom.
Liza is the wife of TV and film actor Paul Adelstein. They got married in November 2006 in a Reform Jewish ceremony. Before they got married, they worked together for theatrical projects.
