As of October 6, 2014, she is ranked world No. 2 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). It was in the year 1993 when she started to professionally train in tennis. She was six years old by that time. In November 2000, she took her first step towards the tennis scene and won the Eddie Herr International Junior Tennis Championships in the girls’ 16 division.
