Matt Bomer, originally Matthew Staton Bomer, was born on the 11th of October, 1977 in Webster Groves, Greater St. Louis, Missouri to parents John Bomer and Sissi. A product of Klein High School, he attended drama school at a non-profit school called Houston’s Alley Theatre. He later on relocated to New York City after he finished college and started to pursue an acting career.
In 2001, he was first seen on television, acting as Ian Kipling in an episode of the TV series All My Children. He then earned a major role on the TV series Guiding Light, playing the role Benjamin Reade from 2001 to 2003. Soon after, he got lots of acting jobs, including portrayals on TV series Chuck from 2007 to 2009. Presently, he stars on the action-packed TV series White Collar, playing the role Neal Caffrey.
Matt is publicly known as a gay. For three years already, he is happily married to Simon Halls who is a publicist. Together they have three sons via surrogacy namely Kit, and twins Walker and Henry.
