Matthew David Lewis, better known as Matt Lewis, is an English film, television, and stage actor. He was born on June 27, 1989 in Horsforth, United Kingdom. He is best known for playing Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films. He also portrayed the role Jamie Bradley in The Syndicate and Corporal Gordan “Towerblock” House in the BBC Three comedy drama Bluestone 42.
He started to appear on screen in the year 1995, portraying the role Johnathan Taylor on Some Kind of Life. In the year 2000, he became a remarkable star when he played the role Neville Longbottom on the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Since then, he had constant appearances on the Harry Potter film series. Meanwhile, he also appeared on various TV series including Heartbeat, Where the Heart Is, and many others. In 2014, he started to appear on Bluestone 42 as Corporal Gordon “Towerblock” House.
