Helen Folasade Adu, better known as Sade, was born on the 16th of January 1959. She is an English lead vocalist of the eponymous band and a R&B soul singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and record producer. Prior to becoming a prominent singer, she first studied fashion designing and later on worked as a model. Soon after, she became part of the British band Pride. Together with Pride’s guitarist and saxophonist Stuart Matthewman, they wrote songs which later on became a hit. Since then, her career in music became more and more successful.
She was married to Spanish film director Carlos Pliego in the year 1989. Unfortunately, their marriage did not succeed as they eventually got separated in the year 1995. In the late 1990s, she became attached to Jamaican music producer Bob Morgan. They were together for a while but their relationship also did not work out as they eventually broke up. The two of them, however, have a child name Mickailia.
Previously, she had a relationship with Maxwell. She also had a relationship with Emile Griffith in the year 1975. In the year 1983, she also became the girlfriend of Robert Elms.
