A product of University of Virginia, she is the daughter of Jeannie Drew and Charles Drew. She attended school at The Stony Brook School. She first earned recognition when she was cast on the TV series Daria wherein she played the role Stacy Rowe for about 26 episodes.
From 2004 to 2006, she became famous for her appearances on the TV series Everwood, playing the role Hannah Rogers. She also became part of the TV series Private Practice and Mad Men. Presently, she acts as Dr. April Kepner on the medical drama series Grey’s Anatomy.
Sarah is the wife of Peter Lanfer. They started dating in the year 2002. It was on January 18, 2012 when the two of them officially became a married couple.
