Simon John Pegg is an English actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer. He was born on February 14, 1970 in Brockworth, United Kingdom. The brother of Katy Pegg and Mike Beckingham. He started to appear on screen as an actor in the year 1999 when he was cast on the TV series Six Pairs of Pants by which he played various characters.
He instantly earned prominence when he was cast on Faith in the Future in the same year, acting as Jools for about 15 episodes from 1995 to 1998. From 1998 to 2002, he became part of the TV series Big Train, portraying various roles. He also rose to prominence when he was hired to play the role Tim Bisley Spaced from 1991 to 2000. He also became know for her appearances on Phineas and Ferb, Doctor Who Confidential, I Am Not an Animal, and many others.
At present, he is happily married to Maureen McCann-Pegg. He has been married to Maureen since the year 2005. Together they have a daughter named Matilda. He was not romantically involved with anyone in the industry.
