Timothy Francis Robbins, better known as TIm Robbins, is an American actor, screenwriter, director, producer, activist, and musician. The son of Gil Robbins and Mary Bledsoe Robbins, he was born on October 16, 1958 in West Covina, California, United States. In 1986, he was nominated for the Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actor for his performance on Howard the Duck.
He also earned the Bronze Award for Best Actor at the Tokyo International Film Festival for his role Bob Roberts on Bob Roberts in 1992. He also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his remarkable appearance on The Player. Presently, he is expected to appear on the upcoming TV series The Brink.
Recently, Tim was in a relationship with actress Susan Sarandon. They were together from 1987 to 2009. Together they have two sons namely John “Jack” Henry and Miles Guthrie.
